With approximately 140 acres in row crop the food source for wildlife in the area is plentiful. The current farmer is interested in a long term lease for the row crop land to provide the new owner with a source of income each year. (ask the agent for details). Once the corn or peanuts have been harvested you will be left with a great field to shoot doves in the early fall. The southern part of this tract (250+/- acres) has been enrolled in the WRP program and 6 controlled flood duck impoundments have been constructed. This allows the owners to plant and flood each of these impoundments to enjoy waterfowl hunting in addition to all else this tract has to offer. Most of the migrating waterfowl are following the Patsaliga Creek which runs through the East side of the property. There are two additional natural duck hunting spots along the sloughs which make the Patsaliga Creek bottoms on the property. Along with great wing shooting this property offer some incredible whitetail hunting. This tract has a long history of producing monster Alabama bucks for the current owners. There are four large greenfield with shooting houses along with several other great spots to hang stands or put up ground blinds along the row crop field. The Patsaliga Creek bottoms provided excellent habitat for these deer and the greenfields and planted corn provide an outstanding food source. 30+/- acres of long leaf pines planted on the Western side of the property makes great bedding area.
