Online and Live Auction KS Swine Production Facility Tract 6

Online and Live Court Ordered Auction to be held on Monday, November 7th, 2022 at 10 am at the Plains Community Building, 812 Grand Ave, Plains, Kansas. 

Tract 6 (Farm 11) is 15.60 acres m/l located on the north side of AA Rd between AA Rd and Ontario St.

Farm #11 consists of two swine buildings, an office/shop building, and a load out. Each building is divided into eight rooms with 20 pens each. There is a heated hallway running the full length of the building. The rooms are heated by hanging forced air heaters and are power ventilated with sidewall fans drawing air through cool cells on opposite sidewall, through hallway baffles into finishing rooms. The floors in the rooms are full concrete slats over dump bucket flush pits. The interior walls and ceiling are painted metal. Pigs are fed via flex auger feed line delivering feed to dry tube feeders. The buildings have bulk bins outside supplying feed to the feed lines. Bowl waterers are available in each pen. Penning and gating are all steel. The buildings have painted metal sides and roofs. The office/storage building is 864 sf with the office being 648 sf and the storage being 216 sf. This facility has a current capacity of 6,080 finishing hogs.
