General Terms and Conditions are 10% Buyer’s Premium, 60 day close, 10% Earnest Money Deposit, and Subject to Floyd County Court Approval. Winning Bidder’s will be expected to sign a Purchase Contract and place an Earnest Money Deposit on the day of Sale. 10% Buyer's Premium is due on the day of the auction along with the 10% Earnest Money Deposit. For example if Bid is $100,000, $10,000 is due for Buyer's Premium and $10,000 is due for Earnest Money Deposit- Totaling $20,000 made payable to County of Floyd. Floyd County Court is scheduled to consider offers from Auction on December 13th, 2016. Property owners may redeem properties up until the day of Auction. Auctioneer will notify public if and when any of the properties have been redeemed either by Auction day announcements or by removing redeemed property from website and online bidding site. Bidders are expected to review Bidder Packet which contains Terms and Conditions, Purchase Contract, Maps, Tax Cards, and Property information. Information included in Bidder Packet is taken from Public Record and is believed to be accurate but not guaranteed. Bidders are expected to complete their own due diligence on properties prior to bidding.
