Notice – In October 1928, PioneerCare began a new way of caring for elders in Fergus Falls. The Pioneer Home, the first such facility in Otter Tail County, opened at that time and has continuously pursued its mission “to promote quality of life in a Christ-like way...” PioneerCare now provides skilled nursing care, specialized housing, assistive technology, and memory care in three beautiful residential settings and in homes throughout the region. A new skilled care facility (PioneerCare Center) was built in 2011, replacing this original structure, which soon will be demolished.
