There will be an auction of approximately 118 acres of mostly open farmland located in Floyd County VA on Saturday, October 15th at 10 AM EST. Bids will be considered both live and online. Live Auction will be held onsite at 123 Paradise Lane, Floyd VA. You can bid online now. There is not a Buyer’s Premium for this property. Winning Bidder(s) will be expected to place a 10% Earnest Money Deposit on the day of sale and close on property within 45 days. The Property is located just outside the Town of Floyd in Floyd County just off Franklin Pike. There are four tracts ranging from 2 Acres (House Tract) to 90 acres of farmland.
Directions. From Town of Floyd stoplight take 221 North. Take a right on Franklin Pike. Property has frontage on both Paradise Lane and Cannaday’s Gap Road which are both on the right. The house is located at 123 Paradise Lane, Floyd VA 24091.
Offering. Property will be sold as individual tracts then combined. Combination bids will be established by adding total bids of tracts to be combined plus 5% to establish a starting bid for the combination. For example, suppose in any given auction, tract sales in an auction for $100 and the adjoining tract were to sale for $200. If a bidder wanted to combine these tracts, the opening bid would be $315 to combine ($100 + $200 = $300 + 5% = $315). This property consists of 4 Tracts.
Tract # 1 is a 2 Acre tract with a +- 1,800 square foot home. The home is a brick home built around 1946 with 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The address is 123 Paradise Lane, Floyd VA 24091.
Tract # 2 is an 8.421 Acre tract that is mostly open and would also make a good building spot. This tract fronts on Paradise Lane and has a really nice creek and views.
Tract # 3 (this tract) is a 90.49 acre tract with open pasture or farmland with good topography and Blue Ridge Mountain views. This tract is a great land tract for farming, crops, cattle, livestock or horses. There are multiple building spots on this property and it has a bold creek flowing through. There is a section of woods in the back of this property.
Tract # 4 is a 17.119 acre tract with a nice creek and building spots. This tract fronts on Cannaday’s Gap Road.
