Tanette Smith becomes the first person to earn honors in both residential and commercial real estate categories.

United Country professionals work across a wide range of property types, and Tanette Smith's latest recognition demonstrates the value of that versatility.

Smith, an agent with United Country | Real Colorado Properties, recently earned bronze honors in both the Best Commercial Real Estate Agent and Best Residential Real Estate Agent categories in the Best of the West Awards.

Hosted by the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, the annual awards recognize businesses and professionals throughout Colorado's Grand Valley through a community nomination and public voting process. Smith's achievement represents the first time an individual has placed in both the residential and commercial real estate categories.

A lifelong Grand Junction resident and industry veteran of nearly two decades, Smith joined United Country in 2017. Today, she works with clients across a broad range of real estate, including residential properties, commercial assets, ranches, hunting land, luxury estates and other lifestyle properties.

She credits United Country's specialty property groups and national reach with helping expand the opportunities available to her.

Her work this year has included the sale of a $2.35 million luxury ranch and a $1.2 million restaurant, while she continues to help first-time homebuyers navigate the purchase process and available down payment assistance programs.
